This Insignia was commissioned by the Battalion Commanding Officer, LtCol Glenn
in a battalion wide contest won by LCpl Franklin Mendez.
The plaque was displayed along with others in the Enlisted Mens Club
and in the Officers Club at Camp Schwab.
It remained there until the battalion left for Vietnam in 1965.
